ERIKA FERESTEN
Erika Feresten is a co-founder and current Chair of Health Care for US. She co-produced and co-hosted the Health Care for U.S. radio show on KPFK, which ran for three years, from 2022–2024. Along with her advocacy for Single Payer Health Care, Erika is a member of White People for Black Lives (WP4BL), allying with Black Lives Matter – Los Angeles (BLM-LA) to end white supremacy and state-sanctioned violence.
Erika served as president of the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club from 2018–2021 and as an Assembly Delegate to the California Democratic Party from 2017–2019. In 2016, she was an elected delegate for Bernie Sanders.
Erika holds an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology and a B.A. in History and is a professionally certified executive coach. She is a Democratic Socialist and the proud mother of Jack and James.
