A husband and father of two incredible teenagers, Scott is originally from Detroit and received his Masters of Fine Arts in film direction and writing from the Florida State University Film School in 1993.  Scott has been a long time advocate for social justice and believes that housing and health care are human rights for everyone.  Fresh off of his duties as treasurer for the amazing Viola for Mayor campaign in Los Angeles in 2022, Scott is very excited to join HC4US as treasurer to continue his fight for single-payer health care in California and eventually nationwide.  Scott is also a house music DJ and a member of the house music DJ collective, The Bootycorns.
