CalCare Is Here! – Please call your CA Representatives

CalCare has been officially reintroduced by Ash Kalra, assemblymember from San José in partnership with the CA Nurses Association! The bill number is AB 1900 and there are 20 legislators who are authors. See if your assemblymember or state senator is an author HERE.

CNA commissioned a new poll and the message is clear, California voters want major health care reform and a state-single payer system.

CNA has a link that makes it easy to phone your assemblymember and state senator. If your legislators have authored CalCare, please thank them and urge them to work hard to pass CalCare. If they aren’t authors, demand that they protect Californians and pass CalCare! 

We need to drive calls to key legislators’ offices. After you call your state representatives, you will see information and an RSVP for CNA’s Virtual Phone Bank on Wednesday, February 18, 3-5 pm PT.
