Each year, in honor of #BreonnaTaylor and the Black women whose lives were stolen by police and white-supremacist violence, Black Lives Matter Grassroots reclaims our divinity with “Black Women Are Divine.” Chapters all around the nation, including: Atlanta, Birmingham, Detroit, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Richmond, and more are hosting events and activities during the month of March centered in arts and healing that affirm the beauty, power, and divinity of Black women. We’ll also be honoring a living “Divine Black Woman” everyday on our social media. Be sure to nominate someone that you’d like to uplift.
