Join us next Wednesday, July 7 at 7pm PT for a discussion of why APIs (and really, all underserved communities) need healthcare equality, and the plan in the CA guaranteed healthcare for all bill CalCare (AB1400) to do just that. Speakers will include bill authors and State Assemblymembers Ash Kalra and Alex Lee; California Nurses Association policy specialist who helped craft AB1400, Carmen Comsti; LA Thai community leader Chanchanit Martorell; grassroots organizers Kathy Jeong and David Monkawa; and Drs Paul Song and Richard Huynh.
