Gina is a mother of 2 public school children, a business owner for the past 27 years, and a community advocate. Gina spent her early years in Los Angeles organizing around LGBTQIA rights with APLA. In her 30’s, she began mentoring with an organization Girls & Gangs and eventually would take a seat on their board. Gina found her way to join the White People 4 Black Lives collective in 2016; working in solidarity with Black Lives Matter Los Angeles. In 2022, Gina ran for Mayor of Los Angeles and took 7% of the vote in the 2nd largest city in the country. Gina joins HC4US to fight for equity in healthcare!
