What:
Toshikuni Doi, a Japanese journalist and documentary filmmaker, who has been reporting on Gaza since the 80s, took on the mission of documenting the plight of victims of the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster.
In “From Palestine to Fukushima,” Raji Sourani, a human rights attorney in Gaza, visits Iitate Village in Fukushima rendered unlivable by the nuclear contamination. During his visit, he draws a parallel between the people’s struggles in Gaza and Fukushima. Flyer design by @avenuemateri
