Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya is a beloved doctor and father who refused to leave his patients behind, as Israel continued bombing Gaza and targeting hospitals. He’s been illegally imprisoned without charge and tortured by the Israeli military since December 2024 — more than 500 days! On July 2, 2026 at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility, his lawyer found him with severe hammer and baton injuries to his head, eyes, ears and neck.
